Itinerary
Arrive at Istanbul International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the evening exploring the Sultanahmet area and enjoy views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia at sunset.
Take a morning flight to Cappadocia. Explore North Cappadocia, including Devrent Valley with its animal-shaped rock formations and Pasabag (Monks Valley) with its mushroom-headed fairy chimneys. Overnight in a traditional cave-style hotel.
Enjoy an optional early morning hot air balloon flight. Visit the Goreme Open Air Museum and its cave churches with frescoes, followed by Kaymakli Underground City, a multi-level underground complex used by early Christians.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Izmir, via Istanbul if a direct flight is unavailable. Continue by transfer to the Aegean seaside town of Kusadasi and enjoy a relaxed evening by the sea.
Spend the day exploring ancient Ephesus. Walk along its marble streets and see the Library of Celsus and Temple of Hadrian. Later, visit the House of the Virgin Mary on its peaceful hilltop location.
Transfer to Izmir Airport for your flight to Istanbul. After checking into your hotel, spend the afternoon exploring the Grand Bazaar with its thousands of shops selling carpets, jewelry and Turkish lamps.
Visit Topkapi Palace, the historic royal residence of the Sultans. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic Bosphorus Cruise between Europe and Asia. End the day at the Spice Market, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar.
Enjoy your final Turkish breakfast. Depending on your flight time, take a final walk along Istiklal Avenue or explore Galata before transferring to Istanbul International Airport for departure.
