Discover the wonders of ancient Egypt on a 5-night journey through Cairo and Luxor. Explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx and Saqqara before flying to Luxor, the world's largest open-air museum. Visit Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, followed by the Egyptian Museum and historic Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in Cairo. Itinerary
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities, meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. An optional Nile River Dinner Cruise with Tanoura and belly dancing performances can be enjoyed.
Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, including Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, followed by the Great Sphinx. After lunch, explore the Saqqara Step Pyramid, one of Egypt's most significant ancient monuments, before returning to the hotel.
Transfer to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, explore the East Bank of the Nile, including the Karnak Temple Complex and the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple. Overnight in Luxor.
Cross the Nile to Luxor's West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of famous Pharaohs including Tutankhamun were discovered. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon before returning to Luxor.
Fly back to Cairo in the morning. Visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, or the Grand Egyptian Museum if fully open, to see ancient Egyptian artifacts including the golden mask of King Tut. End the day at Khan el-Khalili Bazaar.
Enjoy your final Egyptian breakfast. Depending on the flight schedule, optionally visit the Saladin Citadel and Alabaster Mosque. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
